Now I am learning about my lover: new expressions to commit to memory, and ways to induce happiness instead of merely observing it. Education, it seems, never ends.

Often had those cool, thin hands gentled me out of nightmares filled with the smell of gunpowder and the screams of injured men and horses. From the look his grey eyes flashed at me, I knew he remembered as well.

Hi, everyone! A good week for you all, I hope. Well, we're sure to have a good weekend, because it's a classic this Sunday: The Red-Headed League. Cases rarely come weirder than this one. Mr. Jabez Wilson is a bit of a dolt, but he thinks his ship has come in when his shock of flame hair nets him a place as a beneficiary of the odd and mysterious Red-Headed League. When his new-found position abruptly ends, he makes Sherlock Holmes' day instead, bringing this exquisitely bizarre conundrum to his door.
