Yes, it was unfortunate that after Baynes' rather neat and elegant plan, Murillo then simply manged to give the plains clothes man the slip ^^"

It was a good plan. Although Baynes wasn't the only one who failed to capture Murillo, so perhaps he shouldn't feel too bad.

It was a great plan, worthy of a Sherlock Holmes, to make Henderson-Murillo feel safe even where Baynes (and Holmes) were on his track. I will admit I was not too upset about those Madrid hotel murders. ;)

I don't suppose Baynes was too upset at the final deaths - especially as he wouldn't be required to investigate them.
