The Dying Detective: The Long Suffering Landlady

Canon Story: The Dying Detective
Title: The Long Suffering Landlady
Author: thesmallhobbit
Rating: G

“Mr Holmes, you have tried my patience too far this time.”

The furious tones of our landlady reached me as I started upstairs towards our rooms.  I opened the door carefully, prepared to make a hasty exit should that prove necessary.  The greater part of our sitting room, together with Holmes himself, was covered in soot.  I tiptoed quietly away.

And this one I blame [livejournal.com profile] scfrankles for:

“Mr Holmes, my broom cupboard is for brooms.  If I open it once more and find somebody else in there I shall store my brooms in your bed, next to the bolster.  And can you tell me why your bolster unexpectedly sneezed when I went into your bedroom to dust this morning?  You presume upon my good nature too much.”

Ah, the trials and tribulations of Mrs. Hudson. These are wonderful and hilarious. Mrs Hudson really has a lot to put up with from Holmes, his experiments, his visitors, his antics. :) And his sneezing bolster! Never forget that one.
