The Disappearance of Lady Frances Carfax: History Repeats

Title: The Disappearance of Lady Frances Carfax: History Repeats
Author: gardnerhill
Word Count: 60
Rating: G
Warning: Relationship postulated.
Summary: They had gotten away at the end, after all. And they have an M.O.

***

They escaped, after the horror they inflicted on Lady Frances over her few baubles.

They must have seen the pearl on Watson’s watch-fob, a memento of his first spouse.

I tear through the cemetery; another gathering lowers a too-large coffin into the ground.

If I am too late, no rope will keep me from what I do to those two.

Yes, of all the villains, these are the ones that ACD chose to let slip through. I mean, wow. Holding a woman captive for weeks and burying her alive? For money? They deserve the vitrol-throwing, too. Get 'em, Holmes!

Yes, echoing Small Hobbit - Holmes will definitely, definitely not be too late ^^"

I can see Peters and Fraser maybe trying this for revenge against Holmes, with the pearl just being a bonus.
