There is little hope, but I am consulting a solicitor nonetheless to see whether anything can be done -- if not for me, then for my children.

Oh, interesting POV to work from! Poor woman, she must have been so distressed at her husband's true nature. At least she was able to do something before she died.

Hadn't expected anything from the prospective of the late Mrs. Roylott. But I very much like that I've now seen something! She did make a point to take some care of her daughters financially and she thought she was protecting them rather than condemning them. It's such a strong move at the time and yet it doesn't quite work out.
