A/N: What became of the page, of whom Holmes remarked, “He has played a not unimportant part in this drama”? Inspiration from RESI and STOC.

My brother was the brains and mastermind behind our adventures. He found me that position as a pageboy on Brooke Street where we earned quite a penny with only minor inconveniences from the police. I was proud of Beddington’s skills as forger and cracksman. When I read of his capture at Mawson & Williams I knew my future was hopeless.

I was wondering about him, too, and asking myself if it wasn't one of the robbers in disguise. Some people look quite a bit younger than they actually are *coughsmecoughs*.
