Welcome back, all! It's that time again: time to dive into a new canon Sherlock Holmes story for your reading and writing and reading again pleasure. This week it's The Boscombe Valley Mystery. A body is found and a suspect in custody. But there's still enough of a mystery around to attract the detective, who entices Watson out of his connubial comfort to join him on an investigatory road trip.
There is a Granada TV adaptation for The Boscombe Valley Mystery, so please join us for discussion of that as well. You can watch the episode on YouTube, Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Video, and DVD.
Here are your completely optional prompts for BOSC. Feel free to use one, both, or neither:
Optional Prompt #1: Mary sends Watson on this mission -- can we hear things from her perspective?
Optional Prompt #2: Try making two paragraphs, thirty words each.
