Stroke nice. Very good boy.

Friend taking horse friend for a walk. Want to come.

Whine.

Stay.

Good boy.

Alert. Bad man could come back. Watch and wait for bad man.

A/N: Got a bit carried away with Holmes and Watson and accidentally wrote a drabble instead. So wrote a different 60 and you get that one as a bonus extra.

It wasn’t as if she was stealing from Uncle Alexander, after all. She would do anything for George but never hurt Uncle. But the coronet didn’t belong to him but rather to some Lord who George said was an undeserving brute who could easily replace it. They needed it to start their new life. Together. Hardly a crime at all.

It was well after midnight when I arrived home and yet I could tell by the gas lamp that I had only just missed Watson. I had often observed his tendency to take a vigil for me. Even though I had begun to take care to inform him of when I should be late back and how unnecessary it was that he wait up for me there appeared to be no stopping him. Soon, I suspected, there would be cause for me to be away for far longer than ever before. I wondered if he would wait for me then.
