Hello, friends! Welcome back. For this Sunday's Sherlock Holmes canon reading and writing pleasure, we have Thor Bridge. Holmes chooses the case and not the client when a belligerent wealthy American known as the Gold King comes to him with what seems to be an already open and shut incident of murder.
We'll be discussing the Granada TV adaptation of Thor Bridge as well on Sunday. You can catch it on YouTube and DVD. Unfortunately, it appears online streaming sites like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon may have just lost the rights to the show. But YouTube is still your friend.
Here are your completely optional prompts for THOR. Feel free to use one, both, or neither.
Optional prompt #1: Autumn
Optional prompt #2: Write about one of the mysterious "unfinished tales" Watson mentions. Or invent your own!
Haven't joined us for 60 for 60 before? We'd love to have you jump in too! Everyone is welcome. You can learn more here (including the schedule), but the basics are easy: read the story, then write a 60 word ficlet inspired by it. That's it! It's fun, it's quick and you'll love reading both the wonderful classic canon and the terrific variety of fic we all come up with. Come have fun with us! Thanks, see you Sunday!
