Leaving Mary Holder’s cell behind, Sherlock led Jane to a quiet corner of the otherwise buzzing police station.
‘She was caught this morning. I might be able to negotiate her out, but the Angels will have to take care of her.’
Jane’s face grew solemn.
‘I wouldn’t count on them.’
‘Is your sister still ill?’
‘Minerva gives her eight weeks.’

Oh, the story takes an ominous turn. It's interesting to get these little windows into a different world.

I couldn't quite imagine that Holmes let it end where the story parted from its characters. I've tried to keep him separated from Mercy, but it wouldn't make sense for someone that clever to oversee the uses of an organisation such as hers.
