Canon Story: The Empty House
Title: A Dead Faint
Author: [livejournal.com profile] trillsabells
Rating: G

As he paled and fell back into the chair behind him my heart stuttered to a halt. Could I possibly have killed him? After three years of fighting just to see my dear Watson again could I lose him so instantaneously? No, I shook sense into myself. Watson was far too sturdy to die so. I went to fetch brandy.

A nasty moment for Holmes. I am not sure how long the lesson lasted though:-)

*lol* Quite Holmes-y. He could just have checked Watson's pulse. =P

Nice to see Holmes remains completely pragmatic: Watson can't be dead, right where's the brandy?

Could I possibly have killed him?

God, that is the most horrifying idea. What a misery, to joyously return and give your friend a lethal heart attack instead. Thank goodness your Holmes is right - Watson is far too sturdy for that. Whew!
