It so happened that, in the early spring of '95, Holmes and I found ourselves at University again, where he looked into the matter of some curious discrepancies in early English Charters and I - well; I followed him.

I had not yet become so accustomed to having him back in my life that I would willingly be without him.

Awww, that's our Watson. <3 I love his admission, "and I - well; I followed him." He's not going to be very useful to Holmes as his partner faces off against a pile of ancient legal documents, but he's certainly not going to not be there anyway. Perfect.
