Author's Note:  Having written about pain and anger last week, I tried for humor this week--because it struck me when I watched Grenada as well.

Of course he was able to depend upon my instant loyalty and trust, and Inspector Lestrade has remained silent regarding his reaction to Holmes’ reappearance; but it is the fact that Holmes was able to induce Mrs. Hudson to crawl on her knees to implement his scheme that brings home his remarkable power to charm when the occasion warranted it.
