Canon Story: The Six Napoleons
Title: Parsley
Author: [livejournal.com profile] hisietari
Rating: G
Author's Notes: I'm so, so sorry for being so far behind. Despite on vacation, the bulk of writing and reading in other universes has quite taken over, but I will by all means continue this run.

Jane Moriarty would forever despise parsley. They had been on the case together, that summer, Holmes and she. Everything had fitted perfectly into her theory of guilt-induced fratricide via moustache tongues, everything looked as if she would finally score the deciding point in winning the challenge – until her player associate had to notice the breakfast table. The kippers did it.

Canon Story: Thor Bridge
Title: Tender Care
Author: [livejournal.com profile] hisietari
Rating: G
Author's Notes: Felt like I had to bring a bit of that old Moriarty sensation back. Jane is still studying, though close to completion.

“My dearest Holmes,” she wrote, “after all these years of our acquaintance, the true mystery lies in how you insist on mistaking me for my sister. I am by far not qualified to take care of young ladies, however exploited. Her former employer, however, I will readily tend to. In fact, his bank details cover my desk this very moment.”

Canon Story: The Priory School
Title: Calculating Positives
Author: [livejournal.com profile] hisietari
Rating: G
Author's Notes: I tried to bring the topics of education and Holmes's tendency to do absolutely everything right in this story into one theme, and how this may have bounced back and forth between all characters involved.

In the official publication of her dissertation, coinciding with the turn of the century, Dr Moriarty added acknowledgements which contained the following paragraph:
“My heartfelt gratitude belongs to the H. family, for their constant reminder that life is but one universal sum. Wealth, health, and the presence of loved ones, however small, none of these must be in the negative.”

(I was wondering where you'd gone... ^^") Just had to reread SIXN - the parsley reference puzzled me ^^ Very amusing ^_^ I see in THOR you don't envisage a happy ending for Gibson and Miss Dunbar. (I would agree that it doesn't seem likely.) And it's lovely to know that Jane - that reluctant student - will eventually receive her doctorate ^^

Delighted at Miss/Dr Moriarty's educational progress, I love the ominous ending to the THOR conversation, and Jane vs Holmes is great:-)
