Canon story: The Final Problem
Title: Unbelievable
Author: [livejournal.com profile] wild_huntress

Author’s note: Of course someone would have to write on those cracky theories about how Moriarty never even existed, this story never happened and there was some totally different reason for the Hiatus. (It was either this or cracky Holmes/Moriarty...)

I knew Holmes was not physically ill, but was nevertheless shaken to see him brought so low.

“Listen, I’ll accompany you -”

“For six months - perhaps longer?” he asked, reproachfully.

“A week on the Continent, and after, I’ll help you however I can.”

“Well, I suppose you could make yourself useful by explaining my ‘disappearance’ in your unbelievable accounts...”

Hee! That would certainly explain Moriarty's last-minute appearance in the canon up to that point....

Cracky Hiatus theories are fun.

I'd still love some cracky Holmes/Moriarty! :)
