Finally got out of the bedroom, only slightly out of breath. Holmes was staring over my shoulder but I slammed the door, and I'd hidden the bolster under the bed anyway.
Then Holmes suddenly declared that he had to speak to Lestrade and headed for Lestrade's chamber. In desperation, I told Holmes he was a genius and asked him to relate all his deductions so far for the current case. We were halfway to the scene of the crime before he remembered that Lestrade existed.
