Author’s note: I guess this is what they call pre-slash... but university age Holmes/Trevor is too good a theory to pass up.

Energetic, full-blooded - my opposite, in many ways - and a thoroughly decent fellow, too; even I had heard about how decent he was to Evans after their accident in a rugby match, though the two were hardly friends. In fact, Trevor seemed almost as friendless as I, in his way - an anomaly that only added to his attractiveness.
