Not proofread. But since I obviously cannot wait, here it is.


"Watson and I are famous fishermen – are we not, Watson?"

We did actually use our fishing tackle in the mill-stream with the result that we had a dish of trout for our supper.


Sherlock Holmes is a man of many talents, but fishing most definitely does not belong amongst them. Who shall know better than I, who once had the rather unfortunate idea of introducing this pastime to him?

And yet, Holmes is very keen on our occasional fishing trips, oddly contented with the calming nature around us, his pipe and my company.

I feel there is a whole other story waiting to be told about how exactly Watson found out Holmes isn't a natural fisherman ^^ (I imagine it involves someone falling over repeatedly into the water :P)

And that second paragraph is so lovely. Of course, it's the things that come with the fishing that Holmes enjoys - especially Watson's companionship.
