Canon Story: Shoscombe Old Place
Title: The Sugar Lady

The Prince missed the sugar lady.  She used to come each day with a kind word and a gentle hand.  The little dog who loved the lady would visit, too.

He wondered what he had done wrong.  Maybe if he ran fast like the men said, they would return.

Oh, that's so touching. And Mason does say that the Prince would prick up his ears when he heard the carriage, and trot over - he would probably miss Lady Falder in some way.

Aw, that's positively moving.
And rather sad, actually. Poor Prince.

That's far too unkind a word for this.

Awww, poor guy! He probably did enjoy her visits every day, and missed them when they stopped. Between him and the dog, both suddenly bereft of someone who cared for them, I really feel for the animals in this story!

Lovely work.
