I enjoy my walks in the countryside at this time of year. The flowers are lovely: marsh marigolds, cowslips, speedwell, vetch. I can listen to the song thrush, the blackbird and especially the lark. And once on the beach I can inspect the creatures of the rock pools, the limpets, shrimps, sea anemones. I cannot imagine a more tranquil existence.
