"I'll return this by post then," the Inspector said. "Too rich for my head."
Holmes glanced-- Dynamics Of an Asteroid-- and sighed. "Moriarty taunts us both, Mr. Mac," he said. "To Birlstone!"
He was relieved, Holmes confided later, to seek a foothold against Moriarty outside London-- his efforts in town felt, as he put it, useless as a waist-deep moat.
