Oldacre’s fiancée took one look at the malevolent expression on his face and threw her ring at him.

“One day, my dear, I will get even with you,” he snarled.

I had to laugh at the idea of an estate agent trying to sell the manor! Although telling people that it was the site of one of Sherlock Holmes' cases might have helped...

And interesting take that it's the expression on his face rather than the act that really horrifies his fiancee.

I'm not sure that everyone would want to buy somewhere with bloodstains and burnt rabbits though.

I like to think that the expression showed just what sort of man Oldacre was.

I always like the interesting angles you take with your 60s. An estate sale at Oldacre's place -- I wouldn't have expected that! And I'm very excited to see a second 60 inspired by one of my discussion questions! That is just awesome! :)
