Canon Story: The Norwood Builder
Title: That Chronicle Of Our Successes
Rating: G
A/N: Because Holmes seemed a little fixated in this one.

“Why are you so set that I should resume recording your cases, Holmes? You have made your opinions on my stories very clear over the years.”

“My time away has managed to completely change my mind on that score, my dear Watson. When times were hardest, they were the perfect reminder of what I was working to regain.”

Nice! The hiatus would've put a lot of things in perspective, I'm sure.

Aww, that's a lovely sentiment, and rather a touching image of Holmes, reading of their adventures in Watson's writing in some distant, strange land while pretending to be someone else entirely, all the while waiting and working to come home again -- to London and to Watson.

Love it.

Oh, that's a lovely idea! I can imagine Holmes taking the occasional break from hunting Moriarty's circle and comforting himself by reading the old stories.
