The possibilities are endless now. What to complete first? Include a skull of Pithecanthropus erectus? Why not! I can finish my collection of Syracusan coins to rival, no, surpass that of the German collector. My collection of flint blades will be expanded to include artifacts found in Kansas, in honour of my soon-to-be benefactor.

Now to meet the third Garrideb…

You've really got to feel for Nathan Garrideb. Even Holmes was more interested in solving the mystery than worrying about Nathan going all the way to Birmingham on a wild goose chase.

I'll admit I haven't read Aesop's Fables in a really long time, so I'm not familiar with that story. Nathan's daydreams didn't cause him to loose his riches; they never existed in the first place. He was just given hope. :(

I wanted the 60 to seem blissfully innocent and exciting for those not in the know. For those who know, it would be the opposite. It could really be set at any point after Nathan was told, but I think setting it during the train ride achieves the above goal a little better.
