Thanks. One of the things I do like to do with these ficlets is to pick up the voices of characters we don't hear much from. One of the things that makes doing them so much fun.

The reader generally thinks that after Holmes has solved a case, that's the end of things, but this is a reminder that the poor kid has underlying family problems behind the kidnapping incident...
