I'm back, now, and I'm very excited to be participating again. The inspiration of this story, I'm a bit ashamed to admit, comes from the end of the atrocious film, Young Sherlock Holmes. The simple truth, I could never share with Dr. Watson. As fair-minded as he is, it would be cruel to compromise his opinion of me by peddling tales of boyhood romance. I did not know then, as I do now, that Victor’s leaving would bring me a lifetime alone. Though looking back, I imagine I would not change a minute.
