A/N: How would Victor Trevor remember his old schoolmate from Uni? Thanks in part to debriswoman and her fabulous Trevor verses (which you are only seeing a part of here in Sherlock60, I might add :P), I imagine him sitting under a shady banana tree, sipping a fruit cocktail, gazing over his lush tea plantation and reciting the following.

“Sherlock Holmes? How could anyone forget such a strange fellow? I came to know him after my dog taste-tested his leg. He had so many peculiar ideas. Scared my father half to death with his deductions. Still, I’m glad he was around at his end. Wouldn’t mind if Holmes cared to drop by for a cup of tea one day.”

I like this a lot -- probably because I went for such an angsty 60 word story myself. It's nice to see a chipper, sweeter interpretation to the relationship/history between Trevor and Holmes.

Sipping a fruit cocktail under a shady banana tree is pretty much where I always want to be...so thanks for putting me there for 60 words, I appreciate it.

That sounds like he's talking to an interviewer, which immediately makes me think that this interview happened during Holmes's time of hiding after FINA. Oh great, now I have delicate images of Sherlock Holmes and Irene Adler beating the coconuts somewhere in that jungle in my head. XD;; Excuse me for a moment, I need to go drink my tea.

Ah, a sunny ending for Victor Trevor! A lovely change of pace for the poor guy -- thanks for that!

ooh, intriguing... it's nice to see a version of Victor that's not too traumatized by the events of the case. Now I'm imagining a scenario where Holmes visited him during the Great Hiatus.

Yes, maybe Holmes can stop by after his little disappearing act at Meringen. You might as well come home with a tan, after all. Very nice!
