The strains of my friend’s violin have stained the grain of our days in Baker Street with beauty no matter the weather. Permanently resident there or not, I never truly left.

Oh, as usual, you bring an entirely new dimension to my ficlet. It's so wonderful to think of it this way, both Watson and the readers are privileged to spend all seasons with Holmes, and Holmes is rewarded by having Watson close to hand.

Thank you very much. It took a lot longer than normal for me to find something to take and spin off for this one. I enjoyed the story, so I was confused about why I was having trouble. Autumn is my favourite season, though, so once I started typing on that theme things started moving. :-) Again, your 60 for this story was also wonderful, I love the connection of missives arriving at Baker Street with the marriage connection ACD gives us.
