He sees and hears, but never fully observes, my dear Watson. That is for the best. After such a long separation, I am relieved he could not decipher the meaning behind my words.

"I am lost without my Boswell," I said, a more gentlemanly phrase than the true response which came upon me first.

"I have been lost without you."

I sympathize, I too have been feeling rushed off my feet and terribly behind on things. I'm also enjoying the holmesfest! I decided to lurk this round and try to participate in the next. The quality of the work which has so far been produced is making me a bit nervous!

I love this 60, it's an arrow straight to the heart, just as it should be.

Ugh, I have been so out of it the last month. Been a terrible mod/author/commenter, but finally managing to get back on the ball now. Writing two fics for holmesfest was great fun, but also just way too much for me -- I'm way too slow for that! ;)

I can't believe that I didn't manage to get through all the stories before the reveal! I was so determined to keep up, but I don't know where the time goes. At least most of the time I have a nice fat word count to help account for some of it. :-)

Constant lack of time seems to be an epidemic or something. ;) Wish I could participate in anything else, too, but I'm grateful when I can make it to this place at least. One needs the familiar round of friendly faces at least once a week. ;)

They'd have been lost without each other, and I often wish more characters would have been able to join in (for example Mary living with both of them, and for more than just two years).
