It was kind of him to feign reticence at leaving, though nothing could hide the light in his eyes sparked by Holmes’ summons. I shan’t deny him the adventure he loves so dearly, nor can I find it in me to begrudge the time spent with the man he loves just as well. There is kindness in Mrs. Watson, too.

Oooh, Mary's perspective! I love how our group always has such different takes on everything. And I just adore your Mary. the man he loves just as well. -- She knows, and is okay with it, wanting only happiness for her husband. Beautiful.

Thank you so much! My favorite part of doing things like this is seeing all the different ways people can interpret the same thing. These 60s are all so different, but I read all of them and think, "Oh, exactly!" It's great. :D

That is exactly my feeling about it too. I love seeing what angles each author takes, especially as the weeks go on. We all have our little niches. It's also fun to see when a number of people have the same idea, but go about it in their own unique ways.
