Canon Story: The Missing Three-Quarter
Title: Drug

Author's Note: Holmes' insistence that Dr. Armstrong bore some (or any) resemblance to Moriarty seemed hopelessly stretched to me. More than anything, it just felt like wishful thinking.
Cocaine was only ever a palliative for the addiction he was born with and will bear until he dies. He longs for a drug that no longer exists, although that doesn't stop his quest for it, nor his attempts to will it back into reality. He shall always hunger for it, but for Sherlock Holmes, worthy opposition is lost forever.
