Notes: Sorry so late! This is from the POV of the maid, Theresa Wright.

The girl had used to cry to me at night about the beasties she was sure lurked beneath her bed and the many fearsome creatures with which we shared the Australian wilds. I did my best to comfort and soothe her then, but what would I have given so that the woman might never need learn the monstrosity of men?

Point of Agreement

Lady Brackenstall, the former Miss Mary Frasier of Adelaide, was undeniably a lovely woman; but when I spoke to Holmes of her considerable charms, he scoffed and accused me of "waxing poetic again".

I noticed how his eyes followed Captain Crocker, however, when that gentleman entered our rooms. It seemed that there was a subject we could both agree upon.

Hello [livejournal.com profile] thesmallhobbit, [livejournal.com profile] fleetwood_mouse and anyone else who's still watching! Our merry band is now up to three - we'd love as many people as possible to join in ^^ This Sunday, 10th November, we will be posting our 60 word stories for The Adventure of the Beryl Coronet.

Here is our complete schedule for the first 10 weeks:
3rd Nov -- 1. The Abbey Grange, ABBE
10th Nov -- 2. The Beryl Coronet, BERY
17th Nov -- 3. Black Peter, BLAC
24th Nov -- 4. The Blanched Soldier, BLAN
1st Dec -- 5. The Blue Carbuncle, BLUE
8th Dec -- 6. The Boscombe Valley Mystery, BOSC
15th Dec -- 7. The Bruce-Partington Plans, BRUC
22nd Dec -- 8. The Cardboard Box, CARD
29th Dec -- 9. Charles Augustus Milverton, CHAS
5th Jan -- 10. The Copper Beeches, COPP

Essentially our plan is: the ones [livejournal.com profile] thesmallhobbit needs to do to complete her set, then the ones [livejournal.com profile] scfrankles needs to do and then the ones [livejournal.com profile] scfrankles has already done. This will be rather an unorthodox order, and is perhaps a little self-centred ^^ But nothing is fixed - I am open to suggestions as to how we should proceed after those first 10 weeks.

Just a reminder: [livejournal.com profile] sherlock60 is open at all times for any 60s based on any of the canon stories. But if you would like to join us specifically for BERY, that would be lovely. If you are unfamiliar with the idea behind Sherlock Holmes: 60 for 60, you can find out more on the comm's profile here.

See you on Sunday!
