A/N: Last week debriswoman said that a duck didn't really go with The Valley of Fear, so between us we found an improvement.

I have to admire my master.  He will not be beaten by someone who calls himself a Consulting Detective, oh dear me no, Mr Holmes.  It is, of course, inevitable that there will be setbacks, but ultimately he will win.  My very presence here is proof that my master can reach to all corners of the earth and even beyond.

I want this. I really, really want this. There's not enough fantasy/sci-fi in Holmesverse, a gap that has to be filled. Can we have more of these, please?

It sits gargoyle fashion on the outside of buildings and frightens Moriarty's underlings by glaring at them. Some of the more superstitious think that Moriarty becomes the pterodactyl just to check up on them.
