Canon Story: The Hound of the Baskervilles Part One
Title: Glimpses into a train journey
Author: [livejournal.com profile] trillsabells
Rating: PG
A/N: This one is slightly more influenced by a play of the book than the book itself. I just couldn’t resist.

Halfway to Devon there was a moment of quiet when I found myself dwelling on Holmes’ eagerness to be rid of me with some slight hurt. Determined not to dwell on it I stood to reach for my newspaper when a sudden jolt flung me into the lap of Sir Henry. His smile promised a better distraction than solitary reading.

Oooh! I like this. Watson was neither guessing nor speculating, rather deducing.
