The fog roils and billows about me as I run. I know only the path, the night, and my own desperate breath, yet I still hear footsteps pounding close behind me.
A cliff! Now I am truly lost. I turn to face my pursuer; it is only Stapleton.

The last thing I see is the lambent glow of his eyes.
