Jane shrugged.
“Your brother called it revenge, for the Baskerville fiasco. Doctor Watson is more eager to move out than ever.”
“What’s in it for you?”
“He’ll do the same to my brother.”

From the animal friend's point of view, that is a very valid argument.

It must be quite safe in the streets. You don't get overrun by carriages, and pickpockets think you're a spectre.
