Author's Notes: I must admit that at this point I'm fairly clueless about the plot, as this is where I have to leave the timelines developped for Jane's original BBC Sherlock-self as well as the steampunk chick she got upgraded to later. Thanks so much for the prompts! Oh, and if anybody knows what she's studying, please let me know. I hope it's not cheesemaking.


“I am not going to play along with this farce, Holmes. You wanted me to try university life, and I did. You’d better warned your brother, because I don’t like it!”
Holmes shrugged, face nonchalant.
“Too bad. Mycroft predicted you would not last a term.”
Watson watched Miss Moriarty’s face intently. He had bet a considerable sum on her doctorate.

I felt a bit bad about playing with her so much, but maybe at this point she's really not strong enough to pick up her own path again. Basically that's what she's always struggled with, anyway. Hence also the question about if she could really submit to a subject.

Nah, she has no idea, and yes, sorry, I love the betting jokes. XD;;
