That was an interesting night.  There’s been a variety of people leave the house, often distressed, but never in this way: two middle-aged gentlemen who really should be too old for such antics, climbing hurriedly over the wall.  They should have shown the decorum of the lady who left a little earlier.  Obviously ne’er-do-wells because the police are here now.

You raise an interesting point: how DID the lady get out? Did she have to climb the fence? Was she able to go through a gate easily since the alarm had only just been raised? Now I'm curious.
