That is very true. And yet, most of what we know of Sherlock Holmes is through his eyes only.

Date: 2014-03-24 10:58 am (UTC)Personally, when I envision Holmes and Watson as a Victorian gay couple, I cannot see them every talking about their relationship with declarations of love. Whatever they shared, sexually, to me is always an extension of their friendship.
It's always more moving in fiction when people talk around their feelings, instead of coming right out with them. I whole-heartedly agree.
