Canon Story: The Solitary Cyclist
Title: The Peculiar Persecution of John Vincent Harding
Author: thesmallhobbit
Rating: G

“Tell me, Watson, why should a man be presented with a dead creature, such as a mouse or small bird, every morning?”

“Cats do have that tendency, despite their owners’ objections.”

“Yes, but they do not leave them neatly packaged in small cardboard boxes.  We should be better occupied in looking for a human culprit, rather than a feline one.”

Peculiar is right!

I'm convinced there must be a cat in it somewhere.

edit: you are going to tell us the answer, please?

An intriguing answer to what the persecution entailed ^^ I agree with laurose8 - I think a cat must be involved. Is this perhaps some kind of protest against the behaviour of Harding's cat..?

Ah, what a puzzling and peculiar mystery indeed, one worthy one Sherlock Holmes. :) Now you totally have to write this Adventure.

There always is a cat involved. *nods*
