“I don't know whether you observed my bedroom window?" “…three separate windows, one… large enough to admit a man." “The man might have effected his entrance there, left traces as he passed through the bedroom…”



“Do stop pushing, Holmes! Oh, I am too old for this.”

“Chasing criminals in the pitch dark? Or breaking into your own bedroom through a window afterwards?”

“Both! Damn that landlady—locking up at ten. Now, if I grab here and heave… Aaargh!”

“Watson!”

“I’m in! Just let me put a light on…



“Holmes?”

“Yes?”

“This isn’t our boarding house.”

*lol* This is hilarious. Now I totally want the story of where Watson ended up in, and how they got themselves out of this mess. And so typically that Holmes, who is certainly the more agile and lighter man of the two, would make Watson climb into the bedroom window.

Must admit I was thinking back to BRUC - when Holmes, Watson, Lestrade and Mycroft all go to Oberstein's residence. Holmes and Watson had broken in previously by climbing over the railings, but Mycroft refuses to do that. It's Watson who's sent off to climb over the railings and get into the house and let them all in ^^

I don't doubt it ^^" They always seemed to be playing free and easy with the law and happily breaking into places. And Watson didn't tell us about every adventure ^_^
