What interested me was that none of us chose the professor.

For me personally, it was a mixture of thinking that Moriarty was too obvious and also it's simply the fact that Moriarty is a bogeyman for me. I want as little to do with him as possible ^^" (Hands off my Holmes, you villain!) (I wasn't addressing you then, btw.) (^^")
