At first I didn't realise that Altamont and had a want also rhymes. (I really have to read these little jewels aloud everytime.)
But, if I may, the double usage of provided so close to each other strike me somehow ... odd. Just my personal preference.

Very neat rhyming - I love how in two short lines you lay out Holmes' double-agent trick of gaining von Bork's confidence.
