Second Specimen: Hurried scrawl

Interpretation: After leisurely breakfast at Baker Street, abruptly remembers he has a wife who might be worried about him.



Third Specimen: Carefully formed

Interpretation: Apparently hoping the flowers and card will ensure he’s not sleeping in the spare room tonight.

LOL! Very insightful indeed, Mrs. Watson--in more ways than one. We've just gotten some "insights" into the domestic life as the Wastons as well. (I do hope that spare room is a comfortable one!) :-p
