“Did I ever tell you lot about the time I laid one on Sherlock Holmes?”
The other dogs in the night-time alley clustered round – all except for one dog who did nothing.
“Aye,” said the bull-terrier, “even then I smelled ‘dog-killer’ on ‘im. Went at ‘im! Boss whipped me something fierce afore I let go. Laid ‘im out for weeks.”

Date: 2015-05-31 06:00 pm (UTC)I can see Trevor's bull-pup being a bit of a local hero for the canine population as the one dog who got the better of Sherlock Holmes.

Holmes being a future "dog-killer" ^^" Rather sympathise with the bull-terrier now... (Hope the fact he's out and about at night doesn't mean he became a stray ^^")
