“I should do so.” I sat opposite him, crossing my legs, tugging at the blush-coloured silk.

“Touché, Watson! Yes, everything did hinge on the pink dressing gown. Now, please, return that to the theatrical wardrobe company from whence it came.”

“Gladly.” I sneezed. “Marabou is foul.”
