The Missing Three Quarter, Partisan, G
Jan. 23rd, 2012 10:16 pmCatch up fic based on three nostalgia-inducing words in this story and a large assumption about Holmes. Forgive me. Mr Tweed, not a word. Not one. :-P

Title: Partisan

Despite my protests, I know something of teamwork and its sacrifices: have I not abandoned my chemical solace because of Watson's hatred for it? And if, in truth, I haven't the least idea what our client is talking about, I see clearly his determination that our University prevail against the time-honoured foe. After so many years, old loyalties still beckon.

Date: 2012-01-26 11:24 pm (UTC)I heard speculation it was Sidney Sussex, something to do with details in the Gloria Scott story, but I'd plump for Clare (full of scarily brainy people, at least when I was up) or Peterhouse (oldest college, tendency towards oddballishness).
Trinity is, and clearly was then, very hearty and sporty(rowing, rugby), so maybe not a good place for Holmes.
