I am not sure why Holmes ...   Nobody is interested in the presence of a harpoon when we could be talking about the best inspector instead.  I was so afraid he would be injured when restraining the unpleasant Patrick Cairns, but fortunately it was not so.  Although he was left a little breathless, I was relieved he had not been hurt.

*waves at the editor* Sir, I think someone may have interfered with the good doctor's submission again!

Though it has to be said Inspector Hopkins does make a very good showing in the struggle. He was very brave going to Holmes' aid, considering he didn't have a gun like Dr. Watson.

Sigh - yes there is! I am sure Dr Watson was relieved the inspector wasn't injured, but unfortunately we will not now know.
