I have to say, reading 3STU back-to-back with CHAS was something of a shock. They are such a good team in CHAS, with all the handholding and prospective cell-sharing; and then we get here, and suddenly every third thing out of Holmes' mouth is a negative crack about Watson!

So yes, I like this much better. And I very much would like to hear the further adventures of Holmes and the Three Watsons. :-D

Yes, Holmes is in a very bad mood in this one and he seems to be taking it out on Watson disproportionately. And poor Watson, what did he do all day when Holmes was deep in early English charters? I also much prefer them as silk-masked vigilantes in CHAS to the claustrophobic Holmes on a Hot Tin Roof we got here.
