“She was never as beautiful as you though.”

Nellie frowned. “Truly?”

George grinned, and leant forward to stroke her beard. “I think, my love, someone is fishing for compliments.”

I actually saw something online a while ago about a young woman who has a full beard. She was saying she felt a lot more confident and attractive once she'd decided to just be herself and stop shaving the beard off. And she has no shortage of admirers.
